PAIMI Advisory Council
The primary role of the PAIMI Advisory Council is to make recommendations to DRNY about the priorities of the PAIMI Program and to discuss the issues and problems individuals with mental health diagnoses face in New York.

FY26 PAIMI ADVISORY COUNCIL VACANCY
DRNY is currently seeking applications from qualified people knowledgeable about mental health issues to serve on the PAIMI Advisory Council (PAC).
The PAC’s role is to provide independent advice and recommendations to DRNY on policies and priorities for protecting and advocating the rights of individuals with mental illness in New York State.
Most PAC members must be individuals with a mental health diagnosis. The PAC meets at least three times annually.
The PAC is comprised of 7-9 people representing all parts of the state. The PAC currently has 2 members from the Western Region and 3 members from the New York City Region.
To ensure statewide representation, DRNY is looking for qualified applicants from the Capital Region, North Country, Central New York, and the Southern Tier.
If you are knowledgeable about mental health issues, AND are a mental health professional; or a provider of mental health services; or someone who has received mental health services; or someone who is currently receiving mental health services; or a family member who is receiving mental health services; or a family member who has received mental health services; or a family member who is a primary care giver for a minor child who is receiving or has received mental health services; or an attorney; please complete and return DRNY’s PAC Application for consideration.
