DRNY provides advocacy and legal services through the Protection and Advocacy for Representative Payees  (PARP) program to protect people with disabilities from financial exploitation, abuse and neglect. DRNY reviews Rep Payees to ensure they use the benefits to pay for the current and future needs of the beneficiary, and properly save any benefits not needed to meet current needs.
