This is the first event in a 5-part Lunch & Learn series hosted by the New York State Special Education Task Force (SETF). Participants will learn the following:
• What is Assistive Technology (AT) and how does it benefit students with disabilities?
• How can a student with special education services get AT to use in school?
• What is the school’s responsibility to provide and incorporate AT into a student’s Special Ed programming?
• Explore the variety of AT and related supports for different kinds of disabilities
